I have a sd pvr but my existing cable for tv2 is now too short since I've moved to a new place. Can I just replace it with a longer coaxial cable and attach the existing connectors atthe end? Or is it something else?

There are many kinds of coaxial cables... What do you mean by regular? :D

RG6 75 Ohm coaxial cable, that can handle up to 2150 MHz is what you want. That is basically any TV cable available in the shops...

Err, I don't know. Just saw game had a 20m coaxial cable for R99. Will check again. Thanks.

Which of these cables would work? Are they the same? One says "coaxial cable 75 ohm" and the other "coaxial cable RG6" ?

They are the same: both should work.

If you extend (not replace) try to get the metal extender plugs: those plastic ones suck.

I know you asked this long ago, but... the one is pre-terminated and those cables are always bad quality. The other one has no connectors and you will have to buy them separate and put them on. This is the way to go.

EDIT: Actually, you can see 2 loose F-connectors in that blister pack, so no need to buy separate.

What was also confusing was that the one on the left states "satellite" and the one on the right "TV and Video" despite them both having F-connectors.
