Does FNB work with Lineage OS or rooted device

As the title says, does FNB work with Lineage OS or a rooted device?

I am looking of switching to Lineage but I am not sure whether FNB will work or not.

App works, biometrics don't. You can only login with your password. But if you going rooted you can always use a root hider, just make sure you hide root from fnb before your first launch otherwise you need to uninstall and reinstall.

Also lineage is not rooted by default.
