Realistically we don't have a chance. We gotta hope Uruguay destroys Mexico and then we have to beat France convincingly and ideally not concede anything.

Nope.
Both Uruguay and Mexico are on 4 points, SA and France are on 1. GD for Uruguay is +3 and for Mexico it's +2.
Say Uruguay beats Mexico 2-0, Mexico's GD goes down to 0, now SA has to beat France by 3 goals or more because our GD is -2.
The Uruguay match screwed us badly. If we had lost that one just 1-0 our chances would've been a LOT better.

It is a point system but when teams finish on the same points goal difference becomes a factor then goals scored goals conceded then yellow cards red cards and finally if all that fails they flip a coin hahah.

or it was plain luck mixed with the need to win. now we had a lekker loss due to uru's penetrating skill vs our lack of play and laid backness.

Uruguay just may do us the favour and put 2 or 3 against Mexico.remember they would not want to even think about coming 2nd place because then its Argentina more than likely next 
BUT the biggest factor by miles is we wont net 3 against France.i see us winning 1 or 2-0 and the country will have some pride but thats about it.

I believe that Bafana can beat France on Tuesday. France are ****, and the team has bug problems with infighting. The problem is that Mexico and Uruguay can play to a draw, and then Bafana's reslut doesn't matter. Hopefully fear of playing Argentina in the round of 16 will spur them on to playing for a win.
