Yes, it fills the void holes and bubbles between the petrol.

Some smarter people know just to fill to the first click. They rest will probably just drain out again under your wheel so you just wasting money.

I am the most stupid person I know. Reading nonsense like this rocking of the car...dafuq is wrong with people?

Then there are people posting here, that they also do it!

Pretty accurate then, cos EVERY taxi driver does this.

Even funnier shyte is at the truck stop I use to fill diesel I've watched taxi drivers pull out a single wheel ramp to get the vehicle up on an angle while filling.

Doing it is, generally, stupid.
But, if you look at who does it, you know that...

Did you just assume my gender?
Our culture does not define who may or may not have a moustache unlike you Westerners

You may be right and it will continue even after fully charging an EV it shall be done to allow for more charging.
I turn the lights on, so all the wires in the car are full of electricity before unplugging

Most cultures in the galaxy place special meaning on the colours they can perceive. Many vehicles in the Ork armoury are painted red as a result of the superstition that it makes them "go fasta!". Because of the cumulative psychic effect of the Waaagh!, this thought manifests itself as a real boost to the operation of a vehicle. The effect is not limited to vehicles as red is found on just about any item an Ork wants to make stronger, faster, shoot better, etc. The most fanatical Orks belong to the Kult of Speed and use red liberally.[9]

I don't get why taxi drivers do this. It's not like that extra little bit you put in is free. So why bother?
