Does this make sense?

ISP x shapes your line, specific times i cannot do anything on the Facebook app because of ISP x's shaping. ISP x calls me to explain why i cannot use my Facebook app. ISP x states that the shaping is the cause, BUT if i use a browser to log into Facebook on my phone i will not be affected. Is it just me who thinks that this makes no sense? Why shape the app if all i can do is login from my browser and do exactly what the app does? Surely that defeats the object of shaping the app?

Honestly, change to ISP Y. Time to cross ISP X out. :)

If the ISP phoned you to inform you they are shaping the app, I would very seriously considering changing

Mmm that sounds like isp x does not adhere to net neutrality

Turns out ISP x is shaping the app because it uses the same port as file sharing apps like torrents? Not sure why so many customers are ok with this?

Care to disclose because I am with ISP W & X but even a GIF on Twitter or Facebook buffers badly.
