Pieterse was tortured for more than four hours, with his attackers using boiling water to burn him, cut open his head and strangled him with a shoelace, Hermann said.

He said the alleged killers also melted plastic and dripped it on Pieterse's son, Gideon.

Theres been much much worst!!

One of my family members had pieces of his ears cut of with a plier and everytime he said he doesnt have more money, they cut of some more, then eventually burnt him with an iron!

just to add another sick story to the list,

Not too long ago (4 or 5 years) our Gardener was beheaded in his home for the R300 he had just been paid.....

I mean WTF?.. killing someone for R300?...
