Does vinyl wrap void car warranty?

I don't..

However, thinking about it, don't new cars these days have paint warranty against corrosion and things..? Have never bought a new car, but recall seeing things about paint inspections in my service books etc..

In that case, I am sure stealerships would pull a fast one in terms of any paint related issues, saying the vinyl wrap caused it..

No way a vinyl wrap interferes with mechanical warranty though..
 
No it doesn't. maybe maybe paint and corrosion warranty. but even then its a big maybe.
 
The only part of a warranty it could reasonably affect would be one relating to paint.

And even then wrapping it is kind of a paint warranty in and of itself anyway.
 
wouldn't think so, but stealerships been known to invalidate warranty if you put on a air freshener they dont like the look of.
I even heard of them doing it if you change Rims.
 
Watch the paint, I have seen cars unwrapped and the pattern on the wrap was "burned" into the paint.

I'm sure the paint warranty wouldn't cover that.
 
I can imagine it can absolutely void warranty related to paint, corrosion, or any body seals. I know of so many people that do cheap wraps, bad materials, use unqualified installers. I however seriously doubt an AVERY/3M approved/trained installation wont be fine. i worked in that industry for 10 yrs and never was a proper installation an issue. Just that so many people cheap out becuase a good quality wrap can be tens of thousands.

no it does not, if they within spec, invalidating warranty over changing Rims is a stupid idea.
yes, if you fit 34's to your Tazz, and you cant even take corners properly, then it makes sense.

but if you fit 14's and they within spec, compared to what it came with, they invalidate your warranty.

They used to yes but they can't anymore... The most they can do is void a portion of the warranty that relates to the specific change.

I very much doubt the dealer will give you your warranty, if you have spinners on your Rims, like in a Jay Z video.

but something standard, and you change rims, I dont think anybody will bat an eyelid.

”Will this modification affect my warranty?”.
If you’re not finding that dealership helpful, go to another…
