Does Vodacom.co.za password recovery actually work?

Because in the last week I've tried to recover or create new passwords for two active sim cards and despite being told I was successful I'm still getting Incorrect blah blah blah. :mad:
 
It did work a few days ago, when I needed to rest my password!

But their site is very crappy, many times I struggle to log in, where it redirects me to some weird page and I need to log in again.
 
If Facebook can manage to reset my password in seconds you'd think Vodacom could at least manage to do it in a few minutes what with the comparatively minute number of users they have.
 
Been trying all morning to change a password on my one sim, just not working stupid thing and I need my itemised billing now................
 
No, atm it does not work but Vodacom is trying to fix the issue asap. The problem started last week. Obviously, vc does not want to make a big fuss about it but if emailed, will tell you to try and logon from your cell's browser using the old password. Funny enough, it worked for me.

FB has real software engineers not . . . :) Every time I phone the Vodacom help line I record the conversation and play it afterwards, just to figure out what the lady said WTF

Good day it works 100% .BUt Vodacom cannot save your new password .you can log on after the change but the password does not last maybe for 5 minutes ore a day then you have to recover again

Correction, Vodacom decided to cancel the free email system a few years ago, you can reset your password till fibre is installed in your house or hell freezes over, you''ll always get the incorrect log in details. Till you contact the sloths at 111 and tell them to reactivate your free email account. Then it does work.
Just had a 3month battle with them to sort this out.
