Howdy,
We're in the market for a Tiguan, saw a stunning spec at WeBuyCars, but when I went to drive it, quickly realised it's a lot slower than it's supposed to be (highline, as advertised, is 162kw vs 132kw on comfortline). I enquired with VW who confirmed it's a comfortline.
So I went back to the salesperson and said unless he comes down with the price, we aren't interested as we don't want to pay highline money for a comfortline. He said WBC does no negotiations of any sort as the profit margin is already very small.
Is it the same story for Weelee? We've seen a good spec on their site and before going to the hassle of engaging with yet another salesperson, I'd love to hear some stories from you.
TIA
