I would think it does... but we all know, that they'll probably bring something better out in order to make massive profits.

I think that the Wii might have slightly longer - look at the Game Cube - still some people playing on that little gem.

Well, unless Sony has revised their position, the PS3 acutally has a 10 year life span, whle Wii and Xbox 360 have a 5 year lifespan. This is in my opinion where the PS3 / Sony, in terms of their market share in the console market, have messed up.
The price o ftechnology will come down exponentially in the futer adn in five years, Nintendo will be able to bring out a new console, much mor epowerful than the PS3 and again start making a profi ton each console from day one. Sony on the other hand MAY not have gotten what they feel to their monies worht out of a console that cost an arm and a legg for them to develop. We'll see in four or so years what happens. I have little ddoubt that Nintendo will bring a new console out, the gamecube came out five years after the N64, and wii came five years after the gamecube.... BUT more importnantyl, I think its time for a next gen handheld... u can bet yourr bottom dollar that my name will be on the preordre list

A Wii 2 with better then Xbox360 and PS3 type graphics would be pretty awesome !

The next nintendo machine will be called the Wii Advance and will incorporate a more advanced version of their motion sensitve controlling mechanism and of the headtracking that we all saw in that Utube video. Shigeguru Miyamoto will have devised a new zelda title for the launch title which at the time of release will be the best game ever....ever.
