Dog attacks and kills 4 year old

There is a narrative that states Labradors are of the most dangerous dog breeds but looking at stats around the world they seldom if ever make even the top 20.

So where the claim comes from I have no idea.

Yup, but seems every site has their own 'list'.

The usual suspects at the top but I'm not convinced on the lab stats.

Interesting, the Pitbull figures are identical on both lists but purebred Labs don't feature on this list, I did notice there also were several Lab cross-breeds on the list I referenced.

In my experience Labradors are lovers not fighters although it's possible they could drown you in slobber whilst showing affection

And how many fatal labrador attacks have there been this year in SA... one we know of now. Fatal pitbull attacks?

Way fewer pitbull attacks than the media reports on, sure there were lots of dog attacks but far less of them were actual pitbulls.
The media loves the term pitbull, they classify every dog with a square head as one.

I know of a few aggressive labs, same as I know of a few aggressive *bull breeds. The majority on both sides though want to slobber you to death.

Only real difference is that if someone wants a scary guard dog they are more likely to get a pitbull and make it aggressive than to get a lab and do the same thing.

It's not the breed of dog that is the issue, it is the way the dog has been raised and the way it is treated.
Not likely the dog just went bos all of a sudden. There probably is more to this story.

That's plagiarism, that's the pitbul owners line of defence...
