Dog door for security gate plus door

Thanks for the reminder. We have a secondary security gate to our bedrooms and a few passives between this areas and that door so I'm certain it will trigger or the dogs will be wide awake by then
But a good reminder for those who don't.

Yeah I am not comfortable with this hole in the door. Making a latch tomorrow that will go between the door and the gate for the evenings. Will then try to find someone who can do some welding and add in a couple of 45 deg corner bars, dogs will fit through, but a person will have a hard time.
 
That's why I prefer cats.

If your dog is big enough that his doggy door let's a human in, but your dog can't protect you against the human that got in, you have a useless big dog...
