DoGaming save download?

I'm trying to download "The Chronicles of Spellborn" via local from
http://gaming.do.co.za/pc/the_chronicles_of_spellborn/

But the download keeps stopping at 1gig/700meg etc which is getting rather annoying.

Normally I use freedownloadmanager when I download big files since I can pause/resume without problems plus I don't have to worry about corrupted rar/zip files.

but when I try to download the file with it I get athe folowing

So is there anyway I can download the file savely without worrying about it failing in 16 hours on my 384?

Where are you from?

Maybe someone in your area has it and can drop it off on a DVD.

I'm in the Newcastle area, don't think anybody here ever heard of the game.
Hourences use to be responsible for the artwork and levels up to a point so this is gonna be one truely beautiful atmospheric game. No idea about the actual game though.

Only way I will get this is to download it myself or to burrow someone's 4meg line so the dl have less chance of failing. That if I don't get a working download manager or dogaming.

Try Getright. It usually asks for a login/pass before downloading if one is required (which looks like the case here)

Just be patient... I'm sure someone can help you.
If not, maybe someone can 'mail' the DVD to you... there is always someone here who is willing to help.

Otherwise, check games.saix.net (goto those forums) and ask...

I requested the game be uploaded and downloaded it fine I used GetRight to download it.

P.S. You'll need to sign up for an account via www.gingerproxy.com on www.tcos.com and confirm your email address via there too to avoid the IP block. The actual game doesn't block IPs though. Let me just say...it's worth the trouble!

Ok bitcomet seems to work, it at least gives me decent pause resume support. It's better than Firefox at least where the download just stops and you can't resume. Now all I have to worry about is the file being corrupt after download complete. I should try Getright, but I'm just too lazy atm to see if it works. (hopefully I won't regret it later lol...)

i downloaded the game.... 1st time it stopped at 2gb ..... got pretty pissed off.... firefox sux with downloads.... then decided to use ....download accelerator plus....and finnally finished downloading the game....
