Dogecoin

****ing what. I wish I had invested in it. Feels like now it's just going up and not sure if it's a good idea to invest anymore.

He was given 50% all available coins by the creators.
And then....

Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, transferred 500 ETH and over 50 trillion SHIB (Shiba Inu), a meme coin, worth around $1.14 billion at the time of transaction, to the India COVID-Crypto Relief Fund.

Buterin’s offloading of several dog-themed meme coins — which were sent to him without his consent in the first place — comes at a time when India is grappling with a surge in the coronavirus infections.

Buterin, who became the youngest crypto billionaire at the age of 27 earlier this month, also transferred Ethereum and Dogelon Mars (ELON) worth $336 million to Methuselah Foundation, a nonprofit that supports efforts in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine therapies; and over 13,000 ETH to Givewell, a nonprofit organization that works to curate the best charities around the world. Buterin also donated to Gitcoin Community, MIRI and Charter Cities Institute.

When I moved out of doge the other day I actually moved into ADA. No skill, pure luck.

I do not see Doge as an investment in crypto. The coin actually offers nothing and everything else related to it is simply gambling. Ada Cardano, on the other hand, probably is a proper investment coin. Cardano also currently has the highest Fundemental Crypto Asset Score.

Definitely a coin to hold for the long run.

Would DOGE not be more viable to pay for Teslas and other goods? It's essentially limitless isn't it?
I sold up my 350 coins (small fry, yes!). If it tanks badly I will buy more.

Doge is fast and cheap, thats why I like it. Its always a pleasure to send doge around and pay for stuff in doge. Its also uses a fraction of the energy bitcoin does and has merged with the LTC blockchain (merge mining). I hate sending and spending money in bitcoin and ethereum. Slow and expensive. LTC or Doge for me please. Doge and LTC are better transactional currencies that BTC or ETH.

What you say about ADA is on the ball. Theyre a smart network (like ETH). Been a member of the Cardano forum since 2017. I see that most of what they do research side is backed up by solid math and science.

The bigger question is whether it will be accepted more widely as a payment method. Although some companies already started accepting it as a form of payment, I am not too sure. Will it ever reach $100+ per coin? I do not think so. In terms of investing, I think Cardano is a much, much better option. In the long run it may well cross that mark.

Its ADA on binance, hitbtc
I tried buying some on binance with FNB, but it got declined.

I saw on another thread someone's FNB account got closed down, I'm now worried they will do the same to me!

I tried with Standard Bank the other day and it got shut down. I had to transfer into Altcointrader and buy some BTC. Transfer that BTC to the wallet on Binance. Sell it there, and then buy the coin I wanted too. Very long winded!

If I deposit from my FNB account to Luno, could FNB flag me and shut down my account?
