Doing A+ soon need advice

Practice question 3 is incorrect too.

The correct answer is 62.

To cut n paste an answer for that: The maximum number of devices that a 1394 bus can handle is 62. Sometimes 63 is the number indicated. However the number 63 includes the port on the card.

Some of the other questions are highly OS context sensitive, leaning towards Windows, or are just phrased incredibly badly, or incredibly dated.

Looks like this exam is one of those know the terms/exam answers, vs actually know the subject.
How much is the test, I should do one of these for sh*ts and giggles.

Looks like the A+ isn't worth the paper its written on from the questions though!

I have questions and answers as from the CompTIA site. I could try upload them for you or get you the link to fetch them yourself. Let me check.

So this is 801 and 802 ?

I do have quite a bit experience in hardware and software

Just want practice exams to test where my problem areas would be and where to focus on

If you say there are some wrong awnsers is it a good idea to even practice on this or are the practice and actual test wrong?

Quite easy but needed more

I just checked, there are sample questions. 15 each for 801 and 802
 
There are apps on the play store that could help you to, they quiz you. There was one that had a whole bunch of questions. The only one I can recall now is this one
 
Check out a program called Pass4Sure, everyone i know that used it passed their exams.
