The plan from here on is to get a decent job then study further. Loads of places want people with matric. Now I can show that I've done it :) (and not passed with 30%)

I didnt do so kwai like you but you did do it on line and i think that is more easy then real school like i did do evans though i did do it at the night school

Great idea!

Most companies actually give study loans. Those study loans are only repayable if you fail. So if you pass they cover it. Only catch is, it needs to be in a field they could use you. So you might have the best idea :) All the best, you're almost done!

Well done!

Care to shed some light on how:

* You booked exams?
* You wrote exams?
* Cost?
* What material you studied?
* How eligible this makes you to take a university degree?

Thanks!

Thanks.

The lady I did it through is called Shirley Erwee. She's pretty easy to find on Facebook.

Paid R2300 for study material. It explains everything. Annoyed my though so I barely used it. I mostly studied through Khan academy.

I wrote the exams at Boston city campus. Different campuses but same procedure. You book tests on myged.com

$60 per exam. $6 For each practice test. Totally worth it.

You need 165 points for each subject to easily get into uni. Because I got 161 for science, ill have to write an entry exam.

I got my study material in June I think. And I still have to write maths because I suck at it. Will likely write next week or after xmas

Thanks for the prompt reply.

My maths marks sucked in matric - do you think I could just write the maths module and tack that on to my existing matric cert when I apply at universities?

Again - best of luck!

What jobs have you had? So many companies want matric graduates for the simplest jobs.

I honestly don't know. You'll have to all Shirley. She knows more about this than I do

Well done on doing this.
Do yourself a big big favour and continue studying right away, even if you only take 1 or 2 UNISA modules. In my experience if you are in to it and your brain is use to it then keep going, once you take a break for a year or so it is very very difficult to get back on that horse again.

And I'm done! Passed my math today. Super stressful. Glad it's over
