Dolce Gusto Pods

I have been struggling to get pods for my Dolce Gusto machine.

The Americano pods are completely off the market and you can only get the Latte boxes in my local Checkers. The Espresso Intense is also nowhere to be found.

Anyone else sitting with the same problem? Where are you buying from now?

Dude, we had Dolce Gusto machine for about 1.5 years. Then I switched over to Nespresso. Never looked back. More options for pods, you get to decide on milk levels yourself, etc. Basically you have more control, more options, cheaper pods. The Nespresso machines are also less bulky, so they take up a bit less space

Yeah Nespresso is the winner hands down. And they have some awesome new December flavors.

Best decision I made was getting rid of my pod machine (Nespresso) and getting a bean to cup. Better coffee and easier to find coffee.

Delonghi Primadonna Soul but I've had the el cheapo similar to this https://www.takealot.com/delonghi-magnifica-evo-bean-to-cup-coffee-machine-ecam290-21-b/PLID91404491 and it works great as well . Can also look at Philips for not much more https://www.takealot.com/philips-5400-series-fully-automatic-espresso-machine-ep5441-50/PLID71713044. I'd avoid Siemens since mine broke within 2 months.

Does it work well? Our DG sits in the cupboard because the pods are ridiculously expensive for what you get.

sometimes yes ,bean to machine is much better ,but once again its an acquired taste .

didnt you say it lasted just over a year and the fixed it no charge .it was the alignment on the cartridge ,it was probably going into park or transport mode ,if you hold a certain button down it does that .
