Domain registrar suggestions

Hi all

I have 6 x .com domains I want to transfer from the current registrar to a new registrar.

The 6 domains are with a hosting provider that I know longer use and effectively is just being used now for the domain registration.

Any suggestions for a decent registrar ?

I'd go with dotser.com (domain.com same company, might differ in pricing I think)

They're not the cheapest, but is way better than any other registrar I've ever dealt with in the past (and I've dealt with many)

Been using them now for 13 years

yup. They market the hell out of you when ever you pay your annual fees, but They're cheap and reliable.

Whatever you use: Do not use the registrar 1&1 (or 1and1). It took almost a week to create an account with them and create new domains.

Highly UNrecommended.

good prices and thats more or less where it ends.. Have a look at enom, they should allow end users to sign up at no cost

I am not sure what you are referring to, but, if it is for domain name registrations, you will always pay for domain name registrations, no matter where you are.

Their control panel and managing your domains are totally free.

Some registrars request payments when you change DNS, when you point domains, etc. These are all free with Namecheap.

Now you can start registering or transferring your domains. Remember, that Namecheap also has discount coupons. You can register domain at more than $1 less of their advertising prices.

I have been with Namecheap for more than 10 years now - even long before they became an ICANN accredited registrar. According to me they have the best control panel, the best security for your domains, they are by far the cheapest!
