At this moment I need to use my cellphone to get onto the net. Openbrowse doesn't work, it's a buch of crap. And I have PM'd, phoned, email Keoma more than a few times.

Unfortunattely my problem is not being addresses. But hey, thanx for the possitive support....

I take it you are using openrouter then Merlin.

No.

I'm using a Sharp G15 cellular phone, and a Gigabyte bluetooth dongle. Which is why I'm going offline now, it's costing me a LOT of money. Unfortunattely I can't afford more internet access.

You need to download openrouter and install it and have it running to connect through openbrowse. If you had read the email you rercieved with your account details you would know this.

What are you doing? using p2p? browsing these forums on using a cell connection shouldnt cost much.

Youre problem is that you are exceptionally ignorant from what youve said in your posts so far.

My only advise to you is to read the instructions,do a bit of research or ask questions before you fly off the handle on a forum with a very well informed membership.

Thank you for the education.......

I have however read the email, which apply to normal Windows users. Openrouter doesn't work in Linux.

Thus, though I were able (barely) up to last month to browse some sites, asof this month, I'm totally unable todo so.

Even with the old openweb proxy settings, I could hardly browse international sites. Yes, I know it's limited 192KB, which actually is a LOT. My cellphone doesn't connect at such a speed, yet the downloads I get on my cellphone is much better.

Then, have you actually tried to download files while on openbrowse. Don't you get tired of seeing a message saying "this is a browse only proxy"....

But hey, let's all praise Openbrowse. It doesn't work for me. It probably works for you, but not for me. As for the Q, no I don't do p2p. I actually do web development, and my server is in the states, so the moment I reached my hard earned, expensivly paid CAP, I am stuck. After about two days of no work, and a lot of frustration, I normally fork out MORE money, which I don't have to buy another GB.

But, don't frett. Can an administrator please delete this post? There's not reason to bad mouth OpenWeb. Besides, they are the cheapest

I dont really get tired of seeing the "this is a browse only proxy" message because Im well aware of what Im paying for and dont try downloading from international servers.

A little bit of research would have told you it wasn't going to work with linux. Though I would suggest to MrBeep that a visible disclaimer may go a long way to idiot proofing his product range. :D

So anyway thanks for clarifying the fact that you are indeed a troll. Just a pity its not as easily done on hellopeter.

Well said.

It takes a troll to see a troll :)

I didn't "buy" OpenWeb around openrouter. I had it LONG before openrouter came out, but since openroutes, openbrowse doesn't work the way it used to.

But hey, as you said, I'm the troll..... Sorry, Keoma.
