Don't forget to disconnect before midnight, to be on the safe side do it at 23:55 and reconnect after 00:05.

AFAIK it would continue on any capped system unless they disconnect you themselves at 12:00 like on ADSL.

Not a bad idea though, for the end of the month at least..

... Thanks for trying Mr.H, unfortunately you can't save me from my stupidity.

I just realised that I forgot to disconnect once again. :(

Hmm luckily nothing seems to have been wasted. :) I did notice an ad/link to mydigitallife.co.za on their bandwidth page though... wth?

Hmmmm, maybe they fixed it then, but I'd rather not take any risks when iBurst has anything to do with it.:rolleyes:

Those of you with (linux-based?) routers should script them to do this automatically. My DD-WRT based GL does so nicely.

I forgot again :(
but it shows that I have 5.66gigs left :D

just a quick Q - if i bought a 3GB TI account with CCard, will i be charged again for next month, or is it once-off just for this month

if so then should i try rape it :P or will it reset at 12?

<reconnects>

Your excess data should carry over, but if you've blown your cap and are on a throttled connection its best to disconnect before the "data refresh" because the data you downloaded/uploaded will add on to your next months usage...

yes but as i said before, i phoned telkom and they said that i will not pay for this account next month as it was a once off credit card payment just for this month.

i want to retain my connection from 11:55 which i have done and download on that..im sure that if i disconnected, i could not connect again as the password would have changed as it is no longer my account

just wondering if the telkom woman was telling the truth. was it a once off?

i bought from heree using credit card option - https://online.telkomsa.net/external/

The Plan you Have Selected: TelkomInternet AllAccess Premium 3 GB
Your Payment Method: Direct Debit
