So this morning before I left for work I played two games, won the first and the second one was a Terran dude..... now I also play Terran and I HATE TvT!!!

So the usual TvT cheese ensues with drops etc. , I eventually go Thors and had a vastly superior army to his..... then for some reason I just started playing real half heartedly and pulled a really stupid drop in front of his siege tanks and got owned. He retaliated and I in turn owned his army.

I then realised I was gonna be late for work and went for another really stupid drop and didn't even get the 250mm cannon upgrade for my thors to own his siege tanks (I mean how stupid right? going Thors vs tanks and not getting the essential upgrade???).

Bottom line is, I know I was a far better player than this guy but for some reason I was playing really REALLY rubbish.

So don't you just hate it when you lose vs someone in SCraft 2 who you know you really shoulda owned quite easily?

P.S: A Scraft 2 section on the forum would be really sweet -.-
 
This happened to me last night dont worry... Siege tanks are my absolute nemesis... I was so far ahead in the game and I somehow managed to lose after making the dumbest decisions of my life haha... It wont happen again though.
 
I hate it when they drop some Vikings in my base and clean out my SCV's. Hate it!
 
Lol well i can tell you i played a game the other night P,T vs Z,T. The Zerg army wiped my friend of the map and while all this was going on i dropped a drone on a island in the corner of the map and build a nexus there for just incase. Had 8 Colossus in my base with a chees load of Zealots but i built 28 Void Rays upgraded to lvl 2 weapons and armor and lvl 1 shields and just backdoored both bases and there was absolutely nothing left. It was so funny cause both their armies went into my base and everntually overwhelmed all my forces and took the base and both guys were like "gg" meanwhile....
 
Okay so another thing that gets me really p...d off!!

I'm usually very GM when it comes to gaming... always a "GL HF" at the beginning of the game and a GG if I lose or win. But what gets me raging even more than IdrA is when toss(ers) :D come straight into my base (I play terran) and they rush a forge right next to my CC and then go at it with cannons galor! now I know what your going to say! But trust me, if a player rushes a pylon/forge while your rax is still coming up your in DEEP trouble.

By the time I fight off the cannons in my base my economy is so screwed that I've pretty much lost the game as he's been allowed to expand and tec up.

I'm in the gold league and have lost to this like more than thrice, each time I check the players profile after I see his in the plat league with a really good win/loss ratio! So this strat really PWNS Terran at the moment... I know what I'm gonna hear "defend against this like this... blah blah, I promise you though it's really difficult when he rushes a forge and cannons right next to your CC and not having to build up his photons from a dark corner in your base... even when I get marines out while the cannons are in progress they are too slow in taking them down as he starts the warp in of like 3 at the same time.

Anyway, I hate this rubbish and really wish Blizz imposed some kind of nerf to photon cannons inside an opponents base esp early game.

As a result of such tacticts I've had to change the way I play to make sure I can counter.... and I still get it wrong.
I really hate some strat's that can be used, but on the other hand, take it as a challenge to better my 'style'. Have had some good laughs and better times in some of the matches I've played.

Yeah, last night I played like cr@p and dont know why. My friend and I were playing 2v2s - we played one non-novice (dont know what league) and got owned on lost temple. So, we played a novice 2v2 on twilight something or other. I was Terran, my friend was Zerg, and the other team was Terran and Protoss.

So we expand fairly early on and achieve total map domination. They had their starting base and one expansion, we had everything else, about 3-4 expansions each (quite a large map for a 2v2). But... it took us 50 minutes to beat them. The thing is, it was just stupidity. The terran guy had thors and one or two siege tanks, the protoss guy built a mothership, some void rays and a few carriers, plus photon cannons. Nothing much. But for some reason, we tried to send ground units through the main entrance - lunacy! No matter how many thors or hydralisks we sent, because we couldnt see up the cliff, we got owned. Pure stupidity to not use my comsat scan at the right time, or attack with air units in the mix. Anyway, eventually my zerg friend used broodlords to draw the thors away up north, and provide LOS so they could be destroyed.

But after finishing the game, I was like, man we were idiots!I could have had a fleet of battlecruisers for the amount of thors I built. It would have been game over much early. I just didnt think to do anything except to keep building thors (and some infantry) since we knew they would run out of minerals and then they would be screwed. They did, right at the end.

About 15 to 20 mins on average :o ... I don't have set out hours for work >_< ... as Gandalf in Lord of The Rings said " A wizard is neither early nor is he ever late .. he arrives exactly when he intends to" :D

See him fiddle nervously as the game loads, he could whack one off in this time, surely... but that would mean alt+tabbing from tube to game thus ruining the fluidity of transition (whilst also creating another 'stiff sock' for mum to launder...)

See him now this fascinating creature as he 'LOL's and sasses his way into another weekend utterly devoid of female company...

lol, you really need to get a life man... and you drew all those conclusions from?

I have a hot girlfriend, I work for a corporate and investment bank and earn a good salary and the home I just recently bought for myself by myself (no joint income) is worth over R1.3m. Dude, seriously... are you that depressed that you have to come onto an online forum and have a go at people because they like a game???

I do <3 scraft though >_< ... that much you were right about

EDIT:

Oh and even if I was all of what you said in your post... why should that bother you? Live your life and quit trying to impose on everyone else you clown.
