Location
In the Namibian desert...
Moose get's to escape at the end of the month to the city with the flat mountain.

For a change I will be staying over Blouberg side....

Like any Namibian Scotsman, I Googled around to see which bars might be in the vicinity of where I be squatting, found a place called Doodles.

Is this place any good?

Is there much violence in the place?

Do they play 80's music?

Be there graffiti on the bog doors?

Are there pretty looking waitresses ?

Are the clientele older folk or youngsters?

What be the range of beer on tap like?

Is the nosh worth it?

That's about all I can think of right now....

I thank you!

:D

I haven't been there but drive past it often and it seems popular.

They very popular amongst all ages. Good food and good atmosphere too. Been there a few times

Meh, don't find it that great. Only go there when Ons Huisie (where the view is good, food is all right, service is usually slow) is full and I want to eat something at the beach.

I haven't been to doodles, but if you aren't happy, I can recommend Saints Burger Joint in big bay. The 'Going Down Slowly' is a pulled pork burger which was the best I have ever eaten. I don't give that title easily.

Good view
Great Food and Milkshakes
Slow Service though.

Done Saintsl a year back! me and the Bro! , the band asked us to feck off, seem's we cramped their style!

Royal Oak is the best pub in the area. 7 different draughts.
Great brekkie & pub lunches. 80s music & no fights.
Plenty ou toppies during the day though.

Doodles is OK, although overpriced. Food is good. Alcohol expensive. Since it's a restaurant, the crowd ranges from babies to grannies, but the bar area, probably from 18 to 70, no jokes. All ages. Music is good depending on which night. Wednesday nights no live entertainment, probably the quietest night of the week. Aim for a Thursday or Friday. Saturdays are also alright, Sundays busy until about 9pm.
