Thought this is a good a place as any... my wifi doorbell is having performance issues, its some chinese cloud based solution.
I'd like to replace it with a small as possible, custom, neat solution.
My requirements are as follows
* wifi access to camera
* trigger notification if someone pushes the doorbell button.
* keypad / rfid scanner on door to release 12v lock
* the doorbell camera will face the road, so I'd like that recording permanently as additional security
I was thinking a Pi or Pi Zero would be up to the task?
The keypad /rfid scanner should be fairly easy - I already have one on the garage door that works fine.
