Yes, you do carry quite well. I think we should have gone for the top rax before terror blade got so imba, and that witch doctor took our whole team out at the end.

Agreed re Terror. But I have to admit - we were faffing around too much. We had them on the planks and just backed off. Also, some of our guys were not pushing with us even though we called the 5 man push mid. It's one of those things though. I don't like playing Timber, but had to for compendium.

I like playing support lately more than carry. I don't mind not taking the last hits as long as the carries get super fed in the first 10 - 15 minutes.

I find this is a consistent theme in games I play. I'm certainly guilty of it myself. Somehow we reach the mid-late game and we get a 5 man teamwipe and instead of pushing and taking another tower or 2 we run off into the jungle to farm more and waste the opportunity. Silly.

Agreed, from now on I just advocate pushing! You killed a hero? Good, lets push. You got your item? Good lets push.
 
People also seem to forget that a courier is there for a reason. Some guys run back to base to fetch items, or break from the rest to run to the secret shop.

It's also a good idea to let your teamies know that you are about to use the courier so that if someone else needs it you can call is once in stead of waiting for it to deliver and then go all the way back to base to fetch your stuff and then come aaaaalll the way back to where you are 2 minutes later. 2 minutes in Dota is an eternity!
 
I've been on both sides of many games where the losing team would usually win a team fight, but the other team pushed better. Sometimes it's because there's a hero or two that pushes hard but can easily escape so there will maybe be 4 heroes harassing the other team and one guy pushing hard on the other side etc.

Well it does depend on which hero you killed lol. No point in pushing when you've just killed some poxy support and the fed hard carries are waiting for you in the bushes licking their lips in anticipation.
 
I just want to know guys, where and how do you select the swap hero option, I just cannot find.

The only time I pick a hero is for daily challenge. Rest of the time I usually random, or in the case of playing with MYBB guys pick what is needed (usually support).
 
Thinking of starting a "clan" for next years DGL whose in? :)

Would just be for fun now and then next year we can really practice.

I would join, but Im ****ing useless. You could replace me with a tango and notice an improvement in team play
