At slightly higher levels of Dota there is hardly any sniper picks, thank goodness. I just cringe every time we do get the odd sniper picked, and the other team responds with a PA. GG

Lol had a sniper/ogre lane the other day, brought back some found memories.

I played with a dude that went blink dagger on sniper when the other team picked a PA. He just stayed away from her and destroyed her whenever she poked her head out in a fight. When he started that weird build we were all pretty doubtful but it turned out to be good fun :D

Yeah, beauty about Dota is there is always a way.

I just hate it when Snipers go treads and then Shadowblade and have hardly any damage items by 20min.

I've gone blink on sniper before. It actually so legit. You have the joy of getting yourself into really good and safe positions when team fights break out, and isn't countered by one item that costs 180 gold, unlike shadow blade.

Personally I think Spirit Breaker wrecks a sniper, whether he has a shadow blade or not, 9/10 sniper players on SA servers are going to run when you charge him and not man fight you.
 
I think Sniper has a surprisingly high skill ceiling, and is not the noob-hero everybody think he is. Last hitting is actually tough and staying alive even more so, a lot depending on positioning.

Sadly there are few that play him well. I feel when a Sniper starts dominating it's purely by fault of the opposing team.
He should be focused in every fight as he dies to anything once caught.

Yeah Snipers biggest problem is mobility + lack of an escape. Blink dagger goes quite a long way to fixing both of those things.
 
I really like the look of the new Vega team

fn, Iceberg, Mag, fng, Cema

That line up could win some tourneys, if not cause some major upsets.

And for all those wondering why the name change......obvious answer is (I think anyway) that Dota already has a PL.

The only time name changes have happened is when the name is a copyrighted Blizzard name. The abbreviation has nothing to do with it.

But it doubt it's a co-incidence that out of 113 heroes there aren't any duplicate abbreviations. (Not that I know of anyway)

Also having played Wow for years I can confirm there is a "Pitlord"

^This. 3 easy wins as well.

Not saying Underlord is S***, but none had any affect on my games and they turned 4vs5.

Only once did my off-lane moan about last hitting due to UL aura, but other than that I hardly noticed him.

Think will take sometime for him to settle into a role.

On a positive note.....the post-game stats finally show how many wards a support bought. THANK YOU LORD GABEN

Earth spirit, earth shaker, ember spirit, shadow shaman, storm spirit, brew master, beast master..
Will add more. There are many.

Afaik mushi also the sole remaining member of fnatic.
