Dota 2

Who the fsck invites a lvl 4 dota player to their party in the LVL 80+ pool?

Thanks, that just cost us the game, idiots.

I regularly play with friends that are on level 70-110ish, since I started so from level 1. I'm now on level 20 though. Generally we're all on teamspeak though and it goes fine and they tell me what to do, buy etc until I learn. I think I'm decent at the "noob heroes" now but still a whole bunch I haven't even played with yet so I'll only pick those when I play by myself and therefore against other noobs.

There was one horrific game though, I was mid with drow vs a storm spirit who pwned. Checked his profile and he was level ~200 and I was level 10. :(

That alone was enough to know the match up went badly :p

Taking an early point in silence would have helped a lot though.

Heh?
Wasn't that partly the point of this? Everyone learns and we aren't shouting at anyone like you get when you pub? We're not clanning yet...

Or did I miss something? So far I've had a blast even in the games we've lost..

But that person had no knowledge of the game, so in turn we lost because of that one player.

I dont mind loosing but for crying out loud, get to know the game by playing with your own skill level first.
Practice with bots a little bit to learn the basics but ultimately there is no substitute for playing against humans. At some point we all had to start playing against humans and we all sucked relatively badly in the beginning unless we played a lot of Dota 1 or HoN or something.

Unless I'm in a really really schit mood, I don't mind losing when someone in my team is still learning. It just gives one the opportunity to help by giving pointers so he/she can improve. That is also something you won't get easily when only playing with guys in your own skill bracket.

Yeah I'll hopefully be online tonight. Can we make a chat channel maybe? Like "MyBBGamers"? I think that's probably a bit easier than everyone adding each other to make parties etc, especially as it sounds like we have more than 5 people.

You mean like a Teamspeak channel or can we do chat channels inside Steam itself?

Ive lost 6 games in a row so far, something is wrong.
We are going to have to do something about that. :p

What is your Steam name?

LOL ok

Wouldn't want the NSA to get hold of that sort of sensitive information :p

No because if I play with someone and they fail, I tell them straight that they suck and cost us the game.

So should I be playing with one of you and I say that to you, there will be big *** on the forums.

Hahahaha i also K@k people out in ways punishable by hell or death , but as a joke in game :P afterwards no probs

Had some good games this weekend :)

Although I encountered a few world class douche bags!

In the one game the Necro on the opposing team was raging all game long asking us to report the other players, etc. because they were failing...

Sounds like a plan. Created channel MyBBGaming if you guys are interested.

I tried to gind the chat channel inside dota 2 yesterday but couldn't get it. Only saw the one on steam but I was the only one in the chat. Does it dissappear if the main user exit dota?

I joined the channel whenever I played this weekend but was the only one in it as well...

I saw you guys playing and spectated for a while on Friday. Don't think it went to well then. How do you guys decide when to play and how do you form the teams?

Hey peeps! Some fun was had over the weekend. We lost one or two games where we were just out picked, but pulled it back nicely.

I loved my 14 - 0 Witch Doctor!!! HA HA HA HA.... Epic. Who was on Faceless Void that game? Man that was epic, triple kill at almost every engagement. Well done!

Will play a bit tonight, but I am afraid from tomorrow evening it will be TI all the way. 1 v 1 starts 6PM tomorrow evening.
