Dota 2

Guys Im thinking of starting Dota 2 although I have absolutely 0% experience lol. Is it relatively easy to learn? Or am I going to get my dick chopped off by people calling me a noob and raging

Play against bots for a while to start. People will inevitably rage, mute everyone and play on :)

STFU Noob! :p

My advice would be to watch guys play. If you have a friend or two on your friends list, watch them to get the basics about last hitting etc. There is also a tutorial in game which I would recommend you play.

Lol :p

So we will have to chat this evening about the plan of action.

Cool. Will let Muunkey know as well. Shall we say 6PM? Will also see if I can get 5 guys to "scrim" against. Just to test one or two combos as well as one or two other things I would like us to try.

6PM is good for me, just need to confirm with D3x! and EAzzzy!

Deadshet. Am I right in saying that the teams for rage will be decided this weekend? Seems like it.

Lots of training missions and bot matches, a lot of youtube videos for "dota 2 beginners" please.

That won't change by much. Doesn't matter which ISP you go with.

Try playing on SA servers.

You kidding? You can easily get 170ms if you choose the right ISP, and that's more than playable. I actually prefer playing on EU, just because the playerbase is bigger

GaskooN, I haven't been in the ADSL loop for a while but I hear good things from WebAfrica, MWEB and Afrihost. See if you got mates that will lend you their account, just so you can be sure it's the ISP and not the line.
