whats a 180min game?

It is a game in which the players all basically just stand around doing nothing but making sure the creep waves don't push too far for 3 fscking hours.

Basically the new update changed the way items are awarded. Instead of random drops related to our levels we now get drops related to accumulated time spent playing. Some idiot Russians misinterpreted this and think that if you play a single 3 hour game you can abuse the system into giving you an item. They don't realise that the time is accumulative, they think they need to do it all in 1 game.

They're essentially telling you to stretch the game duration out to 3 hours for them so they can get cosmetic items.

Sigh, this doesnt actually do anything. The patch has changed the way items get dropped apparently. It is based on time, however its an accumulative time on your _account_ not on the game. So if you play 6* 30min games you have the same chance of dropping items in 1 180min game. These russians need to bugger off from our server. It is almost impossible to actually enjoy a game. Then when you tell them you aren't doing this bs abuse thing, they get all angry and upset and wanna report you.

Queued up with a buddy last night for 4 games. Restarted 2 due to "abuzers" who left when we said no.

Just got an abuze game earlier tonight. 5 stack picking the usual axe and wraith king and whatnot. The moment they realised we wanted to actually play dota they abandoned. Valve needs to fix this mess.

had opposition that was full of Russians and they called abuse, we agreed and 20 mins in we team killed them took tier1 and tier 2 tower before they spawned and were all basically 2 levels up. Finished soon after. Mean I know, but it was quite fun.
