What's the verdict on the new in-game items as I haven't gotten around to using any yet.

The Lotus Orb and Octarine Core sounds rather interesting.

The upgraded TP boots are a tonne of fun :D

Haven't used much else, Octarine core on something like Lesh is insane!
 
I really wanted the Luna items, how can I get them?
ps its the first time I bought a compendium, any advice or whatever?

Ye I can only imagine, including the likes of Death Prophet and other huge AOE spell casters, perhaps even Earthshaker?

Guess it's time to play some bot games and test out everything.
 
Hmmm yes good question, it just says "Passive: Spell Lifesteal - Restores health for a percentage of any damage dealt from spells. 25% from heroes, 5% from creeps" That's for the Octarine Orb though

The Lotus Orb
"Active: Echo Shell - Targets an allied unit, dispelling negative buffs (normal dispel, not stuns) and applying an Echo Shell buff for 6 seconds. While the Echo Shell buff is active, it re-casts all targeted spells back at its caster"

One has to wonder what is considered "spells"

According to WiKi

"Magical Damage is caused primarily by spells, although not all do magic damage"

Just thinking now how sick it would be on lesh, bloodstone and octarine core. You will not die!
 
Just want to say that Lifestealer, combined with moonshard, mjollnir and MKB is completely broken.
