I'm really trying to get the one task done of destroying any enemy barracks before 25min, but there is always someone in my game leaving and after the game is safe to leave everyone in my team leaves:(

I had that same challenge, I tried to chose pushing heros for a few games to get it done. After a few games, I got over it, and just played my normal games with my stack, and ironically we got it done without much fuss the very next game, even though we weren't really trying.

If you with randoms, I suggest playing natural game, but every time you win a team fight, remind them it a chance to take an objective, and get a tower... Before you know it, challenge complete.

You have to get last hit though. Had a game where we were helping out a guy with this challenge, we sacked the racks in 18min I think, he didn't get the last hit, so challenge didn't count as completed.

That is why it's better playing with 5 stack compendium owners, then it doesn't matter who gets the last hit.

Same goes for everything else, so long as someone achieves the "goal", your challenges is completed.

Jir Im telling you man, I played shadow shaman a few days for the first time to try and get the 25min barracks thingy and got a tripple kill at one point, don't ask how but the serpent wards did the most damage, after that there was I presume two rage quits and lots of P-bombs flying around... was kark funny. after 5min everyone left

Really? I was in a game where I needed to deny one of our towers. I was playing in offlane, and safe lane lost hard, but they did manage to sneak in the tower deny, and it ticked it off as my challenge being complete. I did absolutely nothing to assist with completing the challenge.

I'll claim it though :p

Nope. As long as the tower is denied, racks taken, etc before the time limit, you will have the challenge completed.

Seen it with a bunch of my challenges.

Oh so you don't have to be apart of it when it happens as long as it happens?
Also if the game says, #@$% left the game and failed to reconnect, the game is now safe to leave... Will you still be able to complete the goal you chose?

If first blood was already drawn, before the person abandoned and you win the game, you will receive the challenge.

Strange. I know the guy bought the compendium right before, so maybe his profile wasn't updated yet? He did have the gold ring around profile though.

Who knows - fsck testing. Test in prod. :)

Meh not sure, I just know I had a challenge, deny 2 towers in a game (I denied 1 and my team mate denied another - challenge done). Did this last night.

Same, except I was still on the deny one tower. Ally denied one of the tier one towers and I was sorted.

I am getting so tired of this game. Got absolutely analed last night. Everyone aside from our mid was level 6 at one point. Our Windranger was from Peru or some godforsaken country, kept feeding and not participating in team fights. The game lasted 50 minutes, but not because we defended well, but rather because the enemy team was screwing about and taking the piss, trolling away.

Game after that we had a morph who simply would not get into a fight. After every fight the enemy had 3 or 4 heroes who had less than 100 HP but morph ran away full health and mana. There is no use you try and do your challenges because even if you manage to get your challenge done you still need to win the game. With matchmaking being an absolute dick lately i don't know if I will see level 200 unless I spend some dosh.

Also wondering how the skill level works as mine is pretty much always "normal", whenever I play with you I goes into "high" "very high"

Perhaps it's based on your MMR rating? I haven't bothered playing 10 ranked games, so maybe that's why

I haven't played the full 10 games on ranked :p

No idea, mebe Dotabuff just knows its DEADMANZA!!!
 
Well at least matchmaking is kinda working then, coz I certainly wouldn't like playing against 5 deadmanza's :p

I don't think this is gna change for a while. What I do now is just set my monitor to 16:9 and play like its a 23"
