With The International just around the corner, we’d like to announce an exclusive reward, the 2015 Collector’s Aegis of Champions. The Collector’s Aegis is a 1/5th scale alloy replica, with antique brass plating, of the winner’s trophy at The International. Inscribed on the back with the year and a gold finished insignia signifying this year’s theme, the Collector’s Aegis is a symbol to reward those whose Compendium Level has reached 1000.



After the conclusion of the grand finals of The International, we will send the Collector’s Aegis to all players with a Compendium Level of 1000 or above. Additionally, when in a Dota match, the Aegis of Champions in the player’s fountain will have a special glow effect that lasts until the next International.

Thanks for that - I wonder if that includes shipping to RSA? I know the Dota 2 shop does not deliver to SA, so I would be very skeptical about spending all that moola on something you might not even get. That is a whack load of money to spend..

Don't know my compendium is 392, not sure how much I have spent, taking it to 500 though for sure.

Confirmed we will not receive the aegis...

It's confirmed, I am in the potato bracket after finally finishing 10 ranked matches I ended on a measly 2097 MMR

Not planning on playing anymore Ranked games though as it's even worse than pubs :p

Did you manage to get those games in SA servers, or EU server? I try find a ranked match every now and again and just ending up waiting for like 10 minutes and get over it.
 
All SA Ranked matches, usually takes anything from 15 - 45 minutes, depending on the time of day ( only played these on Saturday nights )

I just spectate friends playing until then, not even remotely worth the wait though.
