I was having the same issues at the beginning of July, tried them out and was much better. Told Afrihost to get lost shortly after that.

Been having the same issue the last few days. Except my ping would sit at around 250ms and then bounce every minute or so to over 1000ms (the -ping command doesn't go any higher) for about 30-40 seconds. I try 1 game of that and give up.
 
Also had some annoying spikey ping on Sunday, not as bad as you guys though, anything from 100ms jumping to 350ms.

The weird thing is it happened on Webafrica and Vox, so I'm assuming they both IS based?

Wasn't going to bother with my Afrihost account, we all know that is so far down the tubes at the moment that it's not even remotely worth the effort punching in their details.

Yea my issues were happening on an IS backbone. Downright unplayable. In a teamfight I see maybe 5 frames of the entire fight tops.

Pity dota tv sucked sooooooo much, just glad the twitch steams worked.
 
I saw Fern playing at 5 this morning... :D Probably waiting for the Navi game.

Didn't watch it, so will watch this afternoon when I get home.

yip cloud 9 and empire is out. Secret went to lower bracket by loosing to ehome 2-0. Im happy EG won 2-0 against complexity, although they had some serious issues with almost 2hours of pausing last night.
 
Hopefully secret can get their act together and do what newbee did last year... damn the ddos attacks cost me to get to bed at 12... happy I did not stay awake for the secret game, as that would have been waisted time... hehe

EG looking good though, will see how the go up against ehome in the semi's, as ehome must be full on confidence now...
 
So tired this morning cause I stayed up to watch game 1 of Secret... Was expecting them to start at about 10 when my power came back on... So many delay this year.
