I had a few funds left over in my steam wallet (can't remember exactly how much) But at a guess it was just under R400 for the level 50 battlepass. Considering how much I play this... And now days I never play anything else... Honestly don't mind...
Last night before going to bed I had 30 minutes to kill, so ended up watching SirActionSlacks play some dotka.
I really have no idea how the hell this guy managed to get above 4.5k mmr , he is truly terrible!
He mainly plays support and 0 wards was purchased the entire game. None of his team bought any either.
Fun stream to watch though
Back to the warding thing, imagine playing support and not having to buy any wards. How much gold do you reckon you'll be able to save in say 30 minutes?
Wards costs 65 gold, buy 2 at start of game. Then another 2 at around 7min mark. Then I guess 2 more each 5 minutes *scratch head*
So that's roughly 12 wards in 30 minutes = 780 gold, plus about another 600 gold for sentries.
1380 gold for warding including sentries isn't that bad for 30 minutes?

I think there is two parts as to why he is a pretty high MMR. One, he loves Omniknight! Like, that is his favourite hero ever. And considering the hero has a pretty high win rate... He will naturally win more then lose... Secondly, he seems to get the most out of his team mates by just having fun. You prob find the people he gets paired with are having such a lol, they naturally just play better....
I guess you have a point, they did have a jol, laughing all the way to victory whilst playing really terrible dota

I'll tell you tonight if it is worth it, but my initial reaction is that it totally is. Especially the level 50. Comes with a butt load of stuff. Tonight I'll be getting all but one of the Chest 1 sets, and I'm pretty sure I'll get the last set tonight, and I'll get bout 7 other items after doing the silly crystal maiden wheel spin thing. And then of course all the other goodies with it.

Doubled in less than a day, tomorrow it will probably be over $6mil

Had two games last night. One in that new compendium ranked thing, and other normal. Both super rough.
Won't have much time to play until Sunday afternoon and evening... So hoping to get some spam in then!
With regards to compendium items, that stupid wheel thing was playing with my emotions... 4/7 spins landed a ball hair from stopping on an Arcana... Got the Pheonix item.. Othen than that, not great shakes. Waiting to see what comes out later... Must say the new spring map is pretty cool.
