Hi.

Have any of you come across a problem with fps fluctuation? Mine does between 55-70 even though it's capped to 60. It does a similar thing at 120fps. This results in a stutter every few seconds where it'll seem like it freezes for a second and then goes on with me missing something that happened. Any help would be appreciated.

The problem occurs in my CS GO as well, but not in any of my other (Non - valve games)

Many things to try
Easy steps
- Update Graphics card drivers.
- Try a different internet.
- Steam/Library/Right click dota 2/Properties/local files/Verify integrity of game cache

Use steam support but this takes forever and they are gonna make you do the "Drastic steps"

Drastic steps
- Delete entire Dota2 folder and reinstall.
- save all games from C: program files/steam/steam apps/common copy and paste the games somewhere safe. Then delete everything in steam except steam.exe, double click steam.exe and reinstall steam.

I fixed mine with new internet but was stuck like that forever. heres a thread that may help http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=189581

Ah i'll give the second part a go. Already tried the first few. Thanks :)
 
Any idea when predictions for the major close people? Still no Telkom line, but should be able to get only tonight via 3g to at least do my predictions

Haven't look yet, but think it ends within the next 2 days, 3 at most.

Are you unable to access it because you have no internet at home? Last time I checked you had a broken arm?

If yes, why not use your smartphone, setup a mobile hotspot and connect your pc via wifi. It will obviously not be very fast, but at least you'll be able to open Dota and do your predictions?

I don't have access to my PC because I'm away from home, staying with my inlaws, they don't play doutah :(
 
I see there are poster in Cradlestone mall saying there is some kind of Dota 2 challenge happening...

I think I've contracted the MyBB curse.....can't seem to win a game!

And it's not like I'm doing silly hero's with quests, I'm on the "Pick up 5 runes" quest, easiest one in the game, but I keep getting paired with raging teenagers who prefer to rage than play.
