Ok so Wings or Complexity?!

IMO Wings were super meh in the group stages. It so hard to say, but I'm leaning more towards Complexity. No spoilers though please! I really want to watch that game, and then secret tonight

Anyone know how the DGL ladder works and how people get into first, 2nd, premier league.

I have a group of friends sitting in the top 10 of the ladder but they aren't in any main groups so just wondering how it all works.

So I just had a quick look at it. It seems the Premier Div, First Div, and Second Div are already is action, and have set teams. After Second Div is the open ladder. After a leg is complete (each leg is roughly 4 weeks) the top 6 teams in the ladder will get promoted to the Second Div, and the lowest 6 team for Second Div (There are 2 x Second Div leagues, group A and Group B) will go down to the ladder... There is also a promotion/ relegation for the Premier Div and First Div. Of Course the lower Premier team go down to First, and the top of the First Div go up to Premier. And same rule applies between First and Second Division.
The ladder is like a challenge system. All teams start off with a set amount of points, and teams play vs. each other to gain or lose points. You can challenge anyone within 200 of yourself (higher or lower) If you beat someone who is a higher rank, you gain more extra points for beating someone technically better than you. And in turn, if you lose to someone lower, you lose points because you lost to an underdog.
It actually a pretty clever system that I think will work wonders for the casual player that can’t commit to 1 – 2 leg games a week, but would like to have play more than just your normal pub with his/her mates.

Games are hard to get in ladder, People tend to be less serious in the ladder div, as we saw this week with a 5 min mid strat. People don't accept games or see schedule so you have to really try and get games to move up in divisions, But this is my experience of it

So have you entered into the ladder?

I can imagine games aren't that easy to come by. I guess over time it will get easier and easier, as you figure out who actually accepts challenges, and who doesn't.
