100%. Some teams discard players for no valid reason. I still feel for Aui2000. he almost single handedly wins TI for EG and they just chuck him aside like he was worthless. I obviously don't know what happened behind closed doors, but he didn't deserve what he got.
 
I might fire up my Dota installation tonight haven't played in months

The only reason a mid player goes 0-12 is because of a **** team. No tps to help him. If you were playing a farming carry then you were ok but if you were playing positions 3-5. You were part of the **** team.

That match was insane. And agree with Chevron. That single play is made the match.

Already hyped for what the Dota world has in store for us over the next few weeks and months. Usually we have a bit of a reshuffle, and then everyone finds their feet before the next major.

No, If I play mid ranged and I fail against a melee hero I only have myself to blame.

^this. Rotate and help the dude when he is getting rekt or face the snowball of that enemy mid hero. Dota is a team game. Sometimes lanes get outdrafted or outplayed. Work together to overcome it or lose.

What an enjoyable experience. Good production, good Dota, good current meta. Only negative was the timing of the final :)

I sat glued watching EG - DC semi but could not stay up for Grand final.
Damn.....that game 3 though! I didn't even feel bad that EG lost, was such a great game. never ever have I seen a team manage to avoid team fights like that and pretty much ratted them to death.

I did surprisingly well on my Hero predictions for the compendium, got about 4-5 right.

Now we wait for UnderKing and MonkeyLord....

Underlord on 23rd August only, I would imagine Monkey King around end of the year? (Didn't Valve say "fall", that Oct right?)
 
Sniper vs Alchemist is the most infuriating match as a sniper because acid spray hurts so much.

It costs you HP to get last hits, when you low he can just throw a stun your way and either get the kill or take you low.

You spend more time running then doing anything else
