DOTA Cheats?

There are many people who hax on bnet!!! i've caught my brother a few times too! just a press of a button kicks people or gives you 99999 gold!!! But i dnt see the point in hacking because I like the challenge of kicking ganny's ass without hax! ....

But seriously if you think that sum1 is "hacking" then save a reply of the game and re-watch it from that players perspective and you can identify if he/she/it was hacking...then get them Banned!

Well that's what I'd say in someone's face, but I've learnt to be more subtle on the forums. People get offended easily when you disagree to harshly. (Please I'm not making any assumptions about people in this thread specifically). LOL see what I mean. ;)
 
Just out of curiosity what kind of pings do you guys get with iBurst/HSDPA? i tried EDGE last nite was getting 350ish so went back to dial up - where i get 170-180.

Who were u using for EDGE? i get around 600 on VC HSDPA but then again i dont play online since i know i cant with this carp
 
I was using MTN EDGE through my N73 and usb cable. The connection was very stable but the delay just a little too high for me to be competitive. Dial up has the odd lag problem but the delay is manageable. I had another couple of games today, this thread has revived my dota addiction after a year or so of not playing.

Ja, I was looking at your nick from your last post and I thought it was familiar. :D

I haven't played in a few days now (thats bad in DotA land k?) because the stupid wireless card on my PC drops almost every game so I have to use my mothers which is on Ethernet... too bad its also on 32mb onboard graphics... I actually can't see PA at all, I die to her without noticing :( its like its own little built in hax.

Oh and my iBurst usually pings around 90-140, depends on the time of day mostly. Some other guys get in the 80's...
 
What was that story about if a certain number of people were using the map hack the game would kick with an error for everyone. Like 7 or 8 out of ten using the hack?

LOL if thats true I have seen that happen before :p

Yea it is true some map hacks is unstable.And every1 in the game will quit war3 and get a crit error will pop up:( it is a sign of some1 or a few ppl using hax.
 
When i first got my Iburst i used to lag and drop games pretty often, used to drive me F&^* mad. I then considered moving to ADSL, but after awhile the Iburst came right. I cant remeber the last time i lagged let alone dropped from a game. My ping is normally between 50 and 100. But i do think the delay is a reason i get raped alot. :( Maybe i just suck :D

Havent played on LAN for a long time, but i recon i would do much better.

btw you can play dota in Linux. Am on a native 64bit system, playing a 32bit windows game. How nice is that? wine-0.9.37
