dotCapeTown e-mail addresses causing headaches

Proud owners of new .capetown domains are having some trouble using their e-mail addresses to register for online services

Last time I looked there were just over 3.5 million domains registered in all the new TLDs, and many of the TLDs them are either over 6 characters (.capetown, .photography, .solutions, .international etc) or are IDN domains( non ascii eg: http://nic.网址/ )

That's a lot of potentially valid users who are going to be affected by this bug. Meanwhile the spammers will just use throwaway .tk domains or yahoo addresses.

Lol, spammers have a better chance of getting something done than legit clients
