Double Charged for Fuel

Thanks for the suggestions guys.I'll give it 24 hours, hopefully it will be reversed but i wont hold my breath. If it comes down to it.I'll grab a statement and head back to the garage to hear what they have to say

Both amounts show as reserved on the statement.Technically its still there,i just cant touch it

You will only be able to do something when it actually goes of your acc (line in statement) .

This happened to me before, both payments went through (cleared), went to the garage with the bank statement and got a cash refund ☺️

There was a Shell garage in Bedfordview that often had problems with there card machines, and some duplicate transactions were returned within 24 hours (sometimes even immediately) and some had to be reversed by the garage themselves

was at that exact station as well, happened to me, had to go to FNB, that's in the center to get it refunded,

thats why I rather use the BP, as their machines work better

Amounts are both still showing reserved.I feel I need to make a trip to the bank
Probably your wisest move, when its happened to me in the past with Standard Bank it's always been picked up and sorted by the next business day.

Do you get double ebucks for that? :p

Yeah, I know you won't. Just liking the idea.

Checked my statement this morning.
No change.1 was charged, the other reserved.I called Capitec again and asked politely for my money to be returned to me since it wasnt "released".The lady was very helpful and 2 min later my money was returned to my account.
She did mention that it looked like something went wrong on their side

I think that Capitec systems may be slow to fix these issues. When I sign up my card for a new service, the R1/$1 or so test charge takes more than a week to be reversed.
