Down under suffering!

Friend of mine are joking about taking leave and going to Aus to help - one suggested approaching big businesses and asking for sponsorship of plane tickets.

I wish!

ROLMAO:D Don't stress too much about them, they'll be fine.

Jip very, thats why it makes me so sad. Like i said a Koala never has to drink water the food they eat are enough, its amazing.... i wish i could get on a plane and go help. People can help help themselfs but poor animals......

But hey i'm a fuzzy animal lover :)

I hope they get those people and set them on fire, but they should not be killed they should survive and live through all that pain.

It's really frightening down here :(

Friday last week when then fires got really out of control, I was outside watching the fireballs rage through the sky and within about 40min, the entire sky was black, soot, ash and embers came raining down.

My Mrs drove back from work and all the ash and soot was like big blanket of paste across her windscreen because it started to rain.

If you drive down the Freeway to Melbourne, just as you past Drouin, you can see how the fires just rips through everything in a straight line (one side is completely demolishes and about 3m to the other side, it's completely untouched), fire went across the freeway, but luckily they contained it to the island in the middle of the road.

I spoke to a couple of CFA members and they were saying that when you go in, you're really not prepared for what you're going to see...alot of them get councelling before going in and coming out.

The Churchill and Dargo fires are still a bit of a worry for us here :( thankfully the little bit of rain last night came, but the weekend is more hot weather :( (was freaking over 50 degrees in some areas last week)
