Hi all,
I'm replacing some downlight units in our bathrooms (4x 60mm lights holes) and notice that they have been wired like the top picture in the below diagram - is this correct or doesn't it make a difference? Or should they be wired like the bottom diagram - just want to understand what is correct and what's not, so I can have it corrected if needed. Unsure who did the original wiring, but the current wiring just doesn't seem right to me.
The first light (right-top) has 1 pair wire in from the switch, then 2 pairs out to the next 2 units (right bottom and left top); so 3 pairs in each L/N connector. The left top unit then has a single pair to the bottom left unit; so 2 pairs in each L/N connector.
Everything worked fine with the old fittings, but just want to make 100% sure it's compliant before fitting these new units.
