Hi,

Hope you can help. I need to download a certain file weekly from the internet. This file gets updated daily, the file name and path stays the same all the time.

I have coppied the path and created an shotcut, but it still brings up an cofirmation box asking to save the file.

Is there any way that I could automate the process?

Is there somehow that I could send parrameters with the address shortcut that it would download without asking?

Any suggestions welcome.

If I can just get it working if I run the shortcut it would be fine, then I can setup an scheduled tast to run the shortcut file weekly.

O, just if you are wondering it is an AV update that I want to download. We do not have an server addition, and I do not want to give every person access to the internet.

Help please

Is this in Linux or in Windows? If you can do it vial Linux (the download), really easy to help.

Can you use a download manager like Getright to automate the download? I am sure you can. Give it a shot.

OK, setup weekly update with getright.

Thanks

If there is another way, without using a download manager please let me know.

I have a couple of sites I want to implement this at.
