Download patch 3.0.8 US & EU

My background downloader did not start to download any patch. I even tried to log into WOW to see if it will start the download, but nothing happened.

Anyone else found this
 
@DjStyles .... Same here, no background downloads, I downloaded the patch from the above links, nothing would not update just errors out.
 
I started wow, it downloaded the patch but starting wow again it says there is a corrupt file, cant validate game version. :(

Breaking news dated 24/6 ???

I'm also getting this, apparantly it's because the EU servers haven't gone live with the new version yet and are still down for maintenance.

Let's hope this is the case.
 
yeah guys relax when servers come online you will be able to logon, same thing happend last night to me. If you cant dl patch dl the one on the 1st page of this thread. Expect a very long maintenance and WG to be disabled.
 
This is probably the first patch I am dreading the release for. Reading up on the various hunter forums just gives me shivers down my spine.

Some guys are even calling this patch "the day all hunters rerolled" hehe.
 
As long as the hunters hold the melodrama fort :P Can't be having them getting all uninteresting on us.
 
Hehehe... so true... As much as I love the hunter class, omg we p0wn the drama / whining side of things. Only once did another class come close to killing us on the whining side, and that was when the rogues got the "Not enough energy nerf" :D
The rogue forums were flooded with whining !!!
 
Lucky my warrior is already 74 so the switch wont be toooo bad.
But looking forward to see how bad my hunter was screwed with this patch. At least now I can play my favorite hunter spec again MM ftw!

Hush, dont u see what blizz are doing, everyone is complaining that the raids are so easy so they nerfing the classes to make em harder lol. Rogue's dont whine, we demand

Mutilate Rogues are taking a big hit as well ;)
 
Hell no... No way in hell will I play a melee dps class with our super latency...

Target not in range... target not in range... target not in range.. WTF I am right in front of the target on my screen !!!! No thank you, I would rather cut off my own **** with a blunt bread knife than play a melee dps class.

As for builds... MM is also pretty weak now. The current build hunters are flocking to is the survival one with L&L + explosive shot. There is a modified BM build which also looks promising, and hopefully it will deliver good results. Only way to prove if its good is real 25 man instance testing. Target test dummies = fail.
 
With arcane shot being fixed and boosted (cheaper mana as well) I think MM stand a good chance of going up again. Time will tell and a lot of testing, one thing is sure, SS spam is gone... With my ~400 Haste I like MM play and been testing it out over the last week. And still managing to be quite high on dps (maybe not as high as with BM though :P )

I also thought of playing my mage again, but casters and melee feels the latency way to much imho.

I have never had any out of range messages, unless I hit a massive lag spike :p

My Mutilate rogue was JUST starting to p00n the hood. :( I also still keeping DC'd in Naxx at certain boss fights :mad:

Oh well, luckily my Xbox games arrived... and by the looks of things just in time too!
