Hey Friends,

We have reached our final beta test for DownStorm.

What is DownStorm?

DownStorm allows you to download your torrents onto our Super Fast 1Gbs server, once done, you download the torrent from the server using HTTP, effectively bypassing any shaping your ISP may implement.

What are the advantages of using DownStorm?

Not only will you no longer have to wait ages for your torrent, you will also protect yourself, as no-one can see which torrents you download. Thus, DownStorm offers you an element of privacy that this world so dearly lacks!

How do the packages work?

Packages work on a Storage Space model, not a usage based one. This means, if you purchase 5GB's, you will be able to download as much to the server and as much from the server as you'd like. Your only limitation is your storage space. You may delete files in storage to free up space for new torrent downloads.

How do I get access to the Beta?

So you get uncapped because it's now cheaper but then pay R49 for 1GB space to download torrents.

I love this idea! My torrents always lag and somedays I wait ages to download them. With my account im downloading them at 400KBs to my computer! That makes me very happy!

...when threatened by legal action what is downstorm's fallback plan ? give out personal details ? give out warning ? remove content ?

Not sure what you are complaining about. If you wanna go cheap, you can just re-use the 1GB over and over again.

Download 2 episodes, delete, download 2 more, delete, download 2 more, delete etc....

And this years fashion? NZB's? I get some of my more obscure music (old jazz mainly) from torrents, but it gets a little frustrating waiting for the one and only seeder in the entire world to turn on his pc and then pull it at .1 of a kb. I'd love to know if there's another way.

Ill get the terms amended to reflect the procudure properly. Most probably inform the user to delete the files in x days.

I can say that we will NEVER give out your info to MPAA.
