Using Google Maps on my Desktop PC, I have created a route from the Southern WC to northern Namibia using gravel roads where possible. (I have a 4x4 vehicle :D ) I am retired so time is not a constraint on my travels

I am now having difficulties in (1) saving the created route, and then (2) sending it to my 2 x Android devices, i.e. a 10" tablet running 4.4.1, and on my 5" Android phone, also on 4.4.1

Any help / instructions would be appreciated

Google now will automagically send the link to your phone and tablet. Open Google now and check.

I usually create the route, then e-mail a link to myself, then open it on my phone, but then sometimes it still changes the route.

Its an app that works offline .... when you cant get reception it should still work?

Also HERE maps support offline maps and is very good. There is a way to export a Google trip/way path so it can be used by other mapping software.
