im having the same problem actually, i got the downloads to continue now though, its stable and doesnt kick the connection. I ran a virus check and found nothing, my browsing speeds are awesome, but its like im throttled and I still have 2.5 gigs left o_0???
to get the downloads to stop disconnecting I removed some programs that looked abit malicious and it started working again. I think an undetectd virus got embedded into one of the files - but i dont think tha could have happened cos i run virsu cheks daily AND its always uptodate. anyway, if i manage to get mine sorted i will help you out too

I think it would also be programs updating in the background as well.

I've also been experiencing these problems with iburst 64k throttle service... seems like they attempt to block you downloading/streaming anything bigger than a certain size...

Thank goodness for download managers - solution to this is to disconnect the modem and reconnect and everything goes on for a while... very tedious if you ask me :(

solution: get Flashget, download wait 2 min... stops, reset modem, reset router, continue download...

I even get it when I'm not capped... fek... must be authentication failure or whatnot

i wonder if their packet analyzer could see encrypted data. like sign up for one of them vpn secure browsing things in the USA. then create the vpn between your PC and the machine in the US - theoretically they cant identify the packets nor target ports as they are encrypted.

I am having the same problem. I don't care though, only a few days and it's ADSL time! :D
