I apologise for the downtime today. We were once again hit with a DDoS attack, and the mitigation software did not work as expected. The network engineers are investigating the issue to see what went wrong.

DDOS means distributed denial of service. They often use Bots, i.e. infected computers with Malware to do the attack. i.e. some inoconcent person that knows not.
