Dreadfull ADSL weekend

Has anyone else experienced an absolutely dreadfull weekend of ADSL usage? It started just before lunch time yesterday morning.

And it's not international as is the case sometimes but local too (BTW my account is not capped). Averything from high pings as soon as the 1st/2nd hops outside my ADSL router to packet loss going up to 40%,

It took me 2 hours to send a 500k e-mail yesterday. It would seem as if service is very intermittant, being ok for a few seconds and then just dieing.

Hope this is only a temporary problem...

Had a bit of a problem this morning surfing, but only for 30 mins or so. After that, finished off my Open Office torrent d/l (it's the full multi-platform iso) that I didn't complete last month - pulled 131 meg in just over an hour - 36k per second or thereabouts.

Sorted.
