I don't feel like doing web development in a virtual machine (I do notice the performance difference) and I don't feel like having to switch to Windows each time I do web development. I have Dreamweaver CS3 on a Windows machine (I mostly Ubuntu). Is there a way in which to run CS3 in Wine or Crossover? Last time I checked it could only run CS2.

Um..... because Linux runs faster than MAC? Because it is more reliable? Because it is actually opensource, because it's fun to use? Oh, and because I like Linux. Not M$ or Apple.

But what's the point if it can't run the software you need to use?

I've got it on a Windows machine at the moment but would prefer to have it on my Linux machine...
