Drifta e19-4 error

Lately Im getting an error: "e19-4 error service is currently scrambled. Your subscription to this channel has expired. Contact your provider to reconnect"

This only seem to happen on weekends since I couldnt use it the whole of last weekend either and on Friday boom same problem. I reset device via hardware button and online and even called in and all dstv can do is reset from their side, but still nothing.

Needless to say this is driving me crazy as I mainly use the device on weekends for sport.

If I send dstv emails they only reply days later and to expensive calling everytime.

Anybody having same problem and how was it resolved?
 
Par for the course, quite normal service from dstv!
 
Your device could be faulty. Suggest return it to the supplier and ask for it to be replaced. Have seen the E19-4 on a few devices and all needed swopping.

How is the power supply? Does it get very warm when plugged in?
 
No does not get warm. A technician just called and reset and it worked. My only prob is that its recurring and I have to do it all over again. But if it happens again Ill def ask 4 swop or claim insurance
 
Hmm, I have the same problem. Each time I phone them and struggle through the endless waiting on the call centre and eventually voila, they do something on their side and it works again. I told them I think they do it on purpose to restrict me from seeing the final minutes of the sport games using the Drifta.

Its a conspiracy. We should get 2 the bottom of this lol. It usually takes a few days for them to respond unless you call them. Its frustrating enough that I cant use the drifta on android without data or airtime cause of the authentication.
